6 July 2019 - Lingate, SK - In a story we brought to you back in June, crews from a natural disaster federal program were on the scene today, to repair damage to a home caused by overnight heavy rains. The home was damaged by a natural landslip caused by overnight heavy rains in Lingate, Sakaino. No other structures were damaged in the area and the home owners were not injured.

Natural Landslips are caused by disturbances in the natural stability of a slope. They can accompany heavy rains or follow droughts, earthquakes, or volcanic eruptions.
Federal officials with Boshka Federal Emergency Management (BFEM) said the repairs will be made at coast to the home owners since this incident was part of a natural disaster.
