28 October 2020 - South Dracul, Dracul - The South Dracul Lieutenant Governor Daniel Morris has resigned amid accusations. On the 8th of July, Morris joined the Dracul government has an Ambassador to Flandrensis. In a statement released by the Bran District of Dracul Attorney General Whisper Williams, a committee convened to hold a formal hearing regarding the South Dracul Lieutenant Governor Morris. However, when Morris was presented with the information, he decided to resign from office. In addition to resigning from office, Morris has decided to leave the micronational community all together according to an inside source.
According to the source, when Morris was first brought into the government of Dracul, he was already facing accusations of misconduct in April of 2020. The Dracul government requested that the accuser present evidence of misconduct by Morris, but was told that the evidence did not exist and that the accusations could not be proved true.
On 24 October 2020, Dracul officials were approached by multiple members of the micronational community, when an announcement of Morris being a speaker at an upcoming event was publicized. This time, these members provided documentation to the Dracul Attorney General, which resulted in charges against Morris on Constitution Breach of Integral Reputation and Conduct Unbecoming of an Official according to Roman Kuznetsov, Secretary to the President of Dracul. Other than what we have been told, they did not elaborate on what the specifics of the charges were.
The hearing was for 28 October 2020, however Morris officially resigned on the 26th of October. In addition to Morris resigning, he officially renounced his citizenship in Dracul and stated that he would be leaving the micronational community entirely according to the source.
