HOC Passes Amendment: Victory for the LGBTQ Community

01 October 2020 - Capital City, CW - A packed House of Commons today, voted unanimously in favor of C-179. An amendment to Chapter 15 of The Code of Law which previously discriminated against individuals based on their sexual orientation.

The Bannister Administration had this to say just moments after the amendment passed,

"With this Amendment now in the Code of Laws, it our hope that government leaders all across the world will follow in Boshka's footsteps to make an effort to change any similar laws currently in place." - The Bannister Administration

Members of the LGBTQ community and supports showed up out side the House of Commons in show of support of the Amendment.
