30 September 2020 - Capital City, CW - A Capital City insider told us that when the House of Commons returns from recess on the 1st of October 2020, Sen. Kevin Moskalets (C) from Carnswell will present a bill to amend Chapter 15, Article 1, Section 16-15-120 which presently states, "Whoever shall commit the abominable crime of buggery, whether with mankind or with beast, shall, on conviction, be guilty of felony and shall be imprisoned in the Penitentiary for five years or shall pay a fine of not less than five hundred dollars, or both, at the discretion of the court."
Senator Moskalets, age 27 said this to one of our reporters,
"This bill as it stands, goes against the very thing for which Boshka stands for, "All are equal." This bill discriminates against members of the LGBTQ community. It didn't belong then and it certainly has no place in the Commonwealth now." - Sen. Kevin Moskalets
Back in June of 2018, Sen. Moskalets married his fiancé, Alex Vasiliev.
If the House passes the amendment, the bill will omit the following, "whether with mankind or". leaving, "Whoever shall commit the abominable crime of buggery, with beast, shall, on conviction, be guilty of felony and shall be imprisoned in the Penitentiary for five years or shall pay a fine of not less than five hundred dollars, or both, at the discretion of the court."
