25 March 2019 - West City, BR - A pedestrian was hit and killed on highway 1 late Saturday night. A person was crossing highway 1 in West City, BR around 11:30 p.m. when hit by a car, according to the Boshka Highway Patrol.
It happened less than one-quarter mile west of Prosperity near BR 391, troopers said. The pedestrian was taken to Carnswell Medical Center and died from injuries there. The driver of the vehicle was not charged, according to troopers.
