18 November 2019 - Wellwood, VD - Fire heavily damaged a home on Old Towne Road in the town of Wellwood early Sunday evening.
Wellwood firefighters were dispatched at 5:17 p.m. and encountered heavy fire when they arrived at 410 Old Towne Road, according to a report from Fire Chief Charlie Franks.
No one was home at the time of the fire.
Fifty personnel responded to the call, with the Wellwood Fire Department assisted by Bluegate and Crystalcrest City fire departments and the Vidalla Province Fire air unit.
A Boshka fire marshal is investigating the cause of the fire.
