06 October 2020 - Capital City, CW - Today, the Federal Government is urging Boshkan citizens to be alert and to stay informed. So, how do you do that? By signing up to receive text message alerts through the Boshka Emergency Alert System (BoshkaEAS). It's free to sign up for the alerts, but standard text and data rates may apply. We should also warn you that depending on where you are in the world, you may get a weekly test text message at 2AM. Overall, they system works and could potently saves lives.
The system is designed to send mass text messages to Boshkan citizens in times of disaster, crisis, or severe weather. The app is only meant for Boshkan citizens. Meaning, if you are not physically located in Boshka, the alert will mean nothing to you. For example. If you are a Boshka citizen currently living outside of Boshka, you may receive an alert for a flash flood. But it's only in Boshka and not your current location.
The good side is, if the Federal Government needs to relay important information to all Boshkans at once, such as a reminder to vote, it could come in handy. Click here to signup now.
