30 April 2019 - Capital City, CW - While the rest of the world slept, the House of Commons passed a bill requiring all individuals to be vaccinated from the age of 0 to 17. Although, this would seen to be ideal in lieu of the recent reemerging of childhood viruses such as the mumps and most common and preventable, influenza, some Boshka's are questioning weather or not the bill is in fact constitutional. As in some cases, someone's religion would prevent them from receiving such vaccines.
In the US, all 50 states have legislation requiring specified vaccines for students. Although exemptions vary from state to state, all school immunization laws grant exemptions to children for medical reasons. Almost all states grant religious exemptions for people who have religious beliefs against immunizations. Currently, 17 states allow philosophical exemptions for those who object to immunizations because of personal, moral or other beliefs.
As the bill reads at the moment for Boshkan citizens, there is no religious or philosophical exemptions.
