The 2021 Banknotes were designed to bring attention to endangered species all over the world. Each banknote features an animal that is currently on the endangered species list. There are approximately 16,306 species on the endangered species list. It is our goal, by producing these notes, that it will bring attention and help to these animals in desperate need.

The 2021 design is meant to bring attention to the animal and not the note itself. You will notice a new simple, modern look to the banknotes design. Each note now has a different color for every denomination.
